Default Need electrical help.

Got my sisters 92 accord ex. Got the pads/rotors/wheel bearings changed out this past weekend. However it has an odd electrical problem. It has a big electrical draw, enough to kill the battery if left hooked up over night, however I cant see anything obvious on (interior lights etc). The battery is 1 year old, and the alternator charges it up fairly quicky after being jumpstarted. Odd thing is, when in gear and driving down the road, the battery light comes on, (only when your on the gas). Hit the brakes, it flickers off. Its not usually on when idling, but will come on when revved up. The clue is the engine compartment had been steamcleaned by a "shop" who also charged a $100 to change out a valve cover gasket. My thoughts were a wire not making a good connection that was jiggled whenever the engine moved forward and back while driving, but its just an idea. Was wondering if anyone else had any ideas or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Try this, if you have a meter or a simple continuity tester:

Disconnect the battery cable, both POS and NEG.
Check for continuity between the POS cable and ground, if there is continuity between the POS cable and ground you have a short somewhere.

Keep in mind the short may also be present only when the car is on.

P.S. I've always been told its a bad idea to wash out the engine compartment with water, but I have done it myself a couple of times but I was sure to be real careful where the water went, I personally would never use steam.
