I was wondering if any one knew what motor is in these car how much horsepower do they have stock. Iam looking to buy a honda this seems like a good car any flaws.
Try the search feature, it'll get you further faster.
Civic Si, 1991, 108hp.
D16A6 motor... strong bottom end reliable past 200,000 miles.
They rust like no other however. Behind the rear wheels, in front of the rear wheels, and the rain drains for the moonroof get clogged and add more rust for the Si.
Good little cars for econo-boxes.

The Ef's tend to be a little overpriced IMO. Unless the seller is unaware of what they have, you will pay too much for an Si. EF's are fun, scrappy little cars though. They aren't very refined by today's standards, but I think that is what makes them fun to drive.
I bought one because it was the car I always wanted back in Highschool.....It's probably my favorite bodystyle hatch.
