i was wondering if there is a write up on this...

because my problem is that in my turbo b18b civic...i went and boosted in 5th gear at low rpm range...so now my 5th gear is fucked and it keeps poping out...

i wanna just change the gear instead of the hole tranny..i was wondering if there is a write up on how to change the 5th gear...or somewhere where i can find it...

bump, i am also interested in this - and is there a way to put in a longer gear just for 5th?

 

for the longuer gear i think it has been covered several times that the b18b tranny 5th gear fit in all other b series tranny..but isint worth it or something...

anyway i dont wanna evolve to much on that topic..i wanna know how to take the old gear out and put the new one in thanks

woo hoo found something...but this is right up to install an LS gear in a b16 tranny
i guess its even easier just swapping the same fifth gear...still wondering though what the hell makes the gear just pop out like that...
