Default Stock CRX bogs and dies - not coil or main relay

I had alot of problems with this car when i first bought it. I replaced the following..distributor, cap, rotor, igniter, plugs, wires, battery, battery cables, starter, ignition coil, main relay, fuel filter, air filter, and pvc valve. all with new parts. that was 8 months ago. it has run perfect since then, until yesterday.

first it died at a stoplight. started right back up though and was fine.
later in the day, it died while driving down the street (accelerating).
then for about 30 minutes it would start back up, drive for a mintute or two and die again.
then i was able to drive it over 30 miles without it doing anything wierd (on the interstate). i get off the interstate, drive down some back roads to my house, and it dies as i turn onto my street.
i go out this morning and it starts, idles for a few seconds, then dies. it won't run for more than 30 seconds.

i've already checks the coil and main relay because i suspected those two things. i swapped them out with known working units. they were fine. i also adjusted the timing, idle, and valves to spec. didn't help.

so who's got ideas? anything helps, i have school tomorrow, i need to get this fixed.

This happened to me when I was in school. Years ago. Plugged fuel filter..
Do you have friends that might put s#@t in your gas tank?

Has to be gas related.

I just checked the fuel pressure and fuel injectors, both fine.

unless it was the mailman because i park on the street and he gets shitty, then no i don't think anyone put anything in my gas tank.

it was the igniter. luckily the first one i bought had a lifetime warranty.

does anyone know why my car would fry igniters?

Could have been bad to start, or not hooked up properly. how long was it in before it went.
