Default Wheel spacers

I have a 2002 honda civic lx and recently purchased this wheel/tire combo. hx wheels with 215/60/14 bfg drag radials and am running into the problem of them scraping against my brakes because the offset is slightly off. i am thinking of getting some 5mm spacers to solve this problem. do you guys think those will be big enough and if so, where would you suggest that I get them from? I only need two, just for the front wheels to fir the drag radials.

there were a few threads about this a while bak, i think they came to the conclusion that 5mm was enough, that compensates for the extra 5mm offset the hx wheels have over most other honda wheels

yup.. the offset on the hxs is 50mm instead of the regular 45mm.. so the spokes on the hx hit the caliper.. that extra 5mm would really help and it'll clear

Default DO you have to have the longer studs when putting on 5mm spacers???

I have an EJ8 and bought HWX rims.
