Took the Si to Test and Tune AutoX
Well, as I'm still trying to pick a car to buy, I decided to take out my wife's car to tear up some slaloms and hairpins. Had a blast! Ran good times, and was very happy with my performance as I'm still a NOOB at AutoX.
My best time was 43.8 seconds, which was a clean run no cones.
For reference to other cars.
Impreza STI - 40 seconds
Honda S2000 - 39-41 pending on driver
Cobolt SS - 44 seconds
GSR EG - 43.8 plus some cones
Supra TT (auto) - 47
Red Integra LS in pics - 41.9
ITR - 44 seconds
Well, you get the idea. Also the Supra went sideways on his way back in and crushed the timer
, but they got it fixed after 10 minutes or so.
All in all I had a good time, here's some random pics of the cars that showed.

That is a good time! I just recently started running AutoX in my Si as well. But it's important to point out that the better times are probably about 90% driver ability and 10% car ability (In my opinion anyway). I think that LSD helps the Si tremendously after riding along with my friend in his Type-S and making the comparison.

You noobs cannot base ANYTHING on these times. Unless these cars were national level drivers, the times don't mean **** as a comparison. Sorry to tell you... But yes, this sport is 90% driver and 10% car until you start getting into competing nationally, then that proportion shifts to maybe 85% driver and 15% car. Reason being, at the top level, being a killer driver will only get you so far if you don't have the machinery to back up the skills.

That would be me.
You can follow my "progress" on building the car into a H Stock autocross contender using these links as I really don't feel like typing a ton tonight.
Early on:

After learning a few things once I autocrossed it twice at the end of last season:

*Those pics were taken when the car was only 1-2 weeks old and had maybe 500 miles on it! I didn't want to spend the money on race rubber that would only petrify in my garage over the winter. I'll have newer pics up soon.
I have installed the OEM Honda front camber bolts and I did perform an aggressive autocross alignment (I won't reveal my numbers). The car has beaten the base MINI (the H Stock class benchmark car) with nothing but the alignment and the Kumho V710 race rubber on optional RSX 16x6.5" alloys (OEM wheel size must remain stock according to the SCCA). I'm still awaiting Koni's, but things look VERRRYYY promising...
