Default The Life and Times of a 1999 Acura Integra GS-R

So last July I bought a '99 GS-R after selling my Type R. The Type R was sick, but the maintainance and insurance was way more than I could afford. The car came with an OEM kit and foglights, sick.

It started out stock.

Then I got an Intake. It's a K&N FIPK if anyone is wondering.

Then it was time to lower it. It's on Tokico 5-ways and Ground Controls.

After that it was time to buy some rims for it. They're Rota Track R bronze on 205/40/16 Kumho 712 Supras.

Along the way I picked up '94-97 tailights and it also has a JDM ITR shiftknob on the car that I've had on my '00 Si and my '97 R.

Comments?

Nice car, but the wheels kill it for me. You should of kept the Blades.

I love it except for the wheels. OEM kit + OEM fogs = sweet combo.

Im gonna take a shot in the dark here and guess maybe because its an R and not a GSR. How many R owners do you see driving around in the snow, getting salt all over the car..or just leaving it outside all day? My guess would be he likes to keep it in pristine condition...not let any kind of repairs go un-done. Etc. He probably wanted to keep the re-sale value of it as high as possible.
