dumb quick question. if i take out the thermostat and leave it out will the car throw a code 6 for the water temperature sensor?

 

well, i know that when i went from my ls to gsr motor they relocated the water temp sensor to the thermostat, maybe u didnt or forgot to hook it back up?

 

i hooked it back up, but i had to manually pin both wires into the sensor, cuz i broke the clip, so im thinking either its wired up backwards, a wire is loose, or it just throws the cel 6 if i leave the thermostat out.
