Well, the car is making 500whp (mustang dyno) right now at 21 psi on a T4 PT67, the clutch wouldn't allow us to crank the boost any higher. It only made it to the track once where it made three passes. All were made at 18 psi without a 2 step, no burnout, and fouled plugs. It ran an 11.5 @ 125 with a 1.9 60'. I'm doing some new stuff for this season and hoping to get a lot more seat time at the track. I'm going to attempt to run 10's on 18 psi. Once this is achieved I will turn the boost back up and shoot for faster times.

Haha, it doesn't concern me...I'm in college.

Excellent question...I WAS running the SR transmission, it only took one pass at the track to change that situation. This season I will be running a 300zx transmission mated to the sr20det, they're beefier and seem to be working perfect on other 240sx's.

Note: These pictures are not on my vehicle, I don't want to take someone elses credit for those pictures.

The 300zx tranny is a great tranny to go with.
I have heard alot about this setup and people have been very happy with it !!

If you didn't know already...SPEC clutches are ****. (imo) After less than 1000 miles it's almost completely gone! It didn't even hold up to a dyno session. It was at the dyno once, the track once (3 passes) and a few street jonts...here's the aftermath:

Some new **** for 2006:

New motor setup:
[*]Carrillo H-beam Rods
[*]CP Pistons: 9.0:1 cr
[*]ACT StreetLite Flywheel

Other new mods (no pictures though) include:[*]RPS TurboMax 6 Puck clutch[*]Mazworx 300zx transmission adapter kit (short shifter & 1-piece driveshaft)[*]Line lock kit[*]5 Lug conversion[*]FD RX7 wheels[*]Nismo Motor and Transmission mounts[*]Power Enterprise 1.1mmx87mm Headgasket[*]60mm extended wheel studs[*]H&R spacers

Hopefully I'll have the motor back from the machine shop by next Tuesday...I'm aiming to have the car running by May 30th. We'll break in the new motor setup, and turn the boost up to 35-38 psi...See if we can't just break past the 700whp mark.

Highly doubtful, I'm getting the motor back in a few days...then I've still got a transmission kit to install...after that the motor needs to be broken in...and a cage needs to be installed! So it's not looking too promising for the 21st.

Wow, that's a pretty neat set-up with the 300zx trans. Where can I get one?

No complaints so far, it's done everything I hoped it would and hasn't caused me any problems!
