Alright, I've got a b16 in my 90 hatch. Originally with the swap, I used the axles that hmotors sent me. Then I started noticing something moving around at the right front area of the car, kind of a jiggling if I hit a bump or took it out of gear. I also noticed that if I hit any type of bump on the right side, it hit really hard and made a loud knock. Shortly after, I noticed that when I put the car into gear there was a slight lag before I actually got power to the wheels.

After I replaced the axles, everything seemed fine. Now it's doing it again. What could be causing that jiggling sensation and my axles to be destroyed yet again?

how about your rack end bushing? there is a thread somewhere around here about it

 

the rack end bushing will cause a clunk when you hit a bump...youre steering wheel wont move but u can feel it through it...i dunno bout the loss of power to the wheels tho

 

Could a bad rack end bushing cause me to bend or damage my axles?
