Default 94 lx help

i have been tryin to figure out what to do for some time now on this car. i need more horses but i want reliability. ive been told the stock motor will hold 8psi without missing a beat. how safe is it realy? and how much to rebuild or have my motor rebuilt to hold the psi. since i have 240000 miles on 'er. i also have a vtec motor for it sitting but i kinna wanna sell it and just make horses with mine or another nonvtech. also !FOR SALE !94 EX vtech motor with 111xxx miles $600 obo.

i might be interested..... 4 cyl vtec or 6 cyl vtec???... and, ... would it mount right in the same place as my current engine in my '95 accord LX..(2.2L 16v)... been a while since you posted this....so.. i might be wasting my time...

With the mileage you have, might want to leave it with 8psi until something happens.... if 300k is the "barrel" for a rebuild, then you will need some money on the side to invest for another 300k.
Turbo if you want, swap if you can, rebuild if you need.
