*DIY garage painting info needed*
Ok my neighbor wants me to do bodywork/primer/paint(possibly) on a minivan
He doesnt want a pearl job, he just wants the car to be in shape for 2 years.
Now heres the phase of action
-Get all sanding pads needed to get paint off + rust down
-Rustbullet all of the rust
-Bondo all imperfections
-Sand bondo
-Get a gallon on primer, primer the car 3 medium coats, then wetsand with 1500 grit, do another 3 medium coats, and sand again
Now the compressor I have is a small one, so im not sure if its good enough for the job.
Here are the specs:
125psi max
1.5hp/2 gallon
2.4scfm @90psi
3.7 scfm@40 psi
So do my steps sound correct, I didnt include the cleaning before primer, etc. its just the basic idea thrown out without all the details. and is the compressor is good enough? Also I know that the scfm is important with painting, so how many lbs would be best to paint with ? ? Thanks very much ! ! !

The guy told me hes probably just going to have maaco do the paintjob, so I dont have to worry about that part, but I have to do all the hard stuff
