bottoming out with new camber kit?? why??
ok, heres the story. i just installed a used SPC front camber kit on the front of my DA (90 LS if u wanna know) and now every little bump i hit the car ounds like it bottoming out the struts. anyone else had this problem? the car is lowered on cheapie egay coilovers (temporary) with stock struts. the camber kit is like brand new, so its not the upper ball joints that are bad (this is a full control arm camber kit)
i had this camber kit in my EF and it did the same thing. i thought that it was the fact that EFs have shitty shock travel and it actually WAS bottoming out.
and i know the car is to low, but i WAS NOT bottoming out at all with the stock upper control arms.
if anyone has any input i would greatly apreciate it.

seems to be that this was my problem. since the SPC kit is taller than the stock control arm (because of the large adjustment nut on top, SHITTY DESIGN) it was hitting the inner fender. i just went out and adjusted the camber and now its better. but NOW i need an alignment like, TOMORROW b/c my toe is WAAAY out and it feels like over every frost heave in the road that its ripping the tie rods off. oh well, alignment time!!
yeah it sucks. i just went out and adjusted camber and toe by eye. and before everyone says "you should do that" ill tell ya right now that its WORLDS better now that i adjusted it. it will be getting a real alngment once the new springs go in and a can get it to a SET ride height
