Default Starter problem/battery relocate

I moved my battery to my trunk the other day, and as soon as I grounded the battery the starter began spinning without trying to engage. I have some thick cable, a little bigger than stock and hooked everything back up. Then I moved everything back up front, and it still does the same thing. I'm thinking I blew the relay. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Now it tries to start the motor, just by hooking up the battery. Stupid electrical!
