Default 2000 SiR Suspension question

So I've got a 00 SiR and i wanna lower it. My City doesnt have the best roads, a lot of potholes and not very flat, but i still want that look and feel of the car being lowered. But im trying to figure out what would be the best route to take, coilovers or springs. Either way id be getting a camber kit, but i dont wanna send huge sums of money. Ive heard if you just change springs your car will bounce and itll kill your stock suspension. Anyways ... any help or advice would be apprechiated.

i see your from winnipeg also, did you try asking some people on winnipegheights.com
i also have an SiR and i know a few other people with them, if you want to lower your car i would advise again'st using stock shocks, altering the suspension geometry will put more stress on the stock shocks and you will either ride on the bumpstops or just blow a shock, you may last for a while but then i wouldn't sacrifice the ride quality. if you want something soft, try looking at tein s-tech lowering springs over aftermarket shocks, i know someone who has those springs over kyb agx shocks and he likes the ride, he has almost no wheel gap and it can take our shitty streets. good luck
