Anybody ever try or can compare both tire... I used to have yokos es100 but didn't like the shoulder feld a bit too soft when cornering... What about both of them on the track? One of my friend told me also about Nitto... Anybody?
It depends on what you're looking for.
The Michelin Pilot PS2 is a top-of-the-line tire that is very good in both wet and dry conditions, similar to the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 and Bridgestone S-03. It came in fourth overall in the big comparison test in the December Car and Driver, which the Goodyear won. Very good dry traction, very good wet traction, decent treadlife, and a high price.
The Falken Azenis RT-615 is a specialty tire that offers outstanding dry traction, but is just so-so in the wet. Its price is pretty decent, but treadwear is extremely rapid.
If I were choosing a tire that I were going to use from time to time on the track as well as the street, I would choose the Azenis, which will do better on the track (assuming it's dry). If I wanted really good performance just for the street, I would take the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 over either of these.
Nitto has a full line of tires, including the NT450 and NT NeoGen all-seasons, NT555 summer tires, NT555R drag radials, NT01 R compound track tires, etc. I'm not sure which one you're referring to.
my friend has the pilots on 18s on his G35 and he says they last around 20k...plus they grip like crazy in the rain and dry...i'd get them but too bad they dont make it 15's...haha...

Rapid treadwear (like the Azenis), not as much grip as the Azenis.
