Default Clock Problem

hi i just got a 94 civic and my clock doesnt seem to work right, every time i start my car the clock restarts back to 1:00 and doesnt light up unless i push the button under it. can someone help me out please? thanks

Pull it out and check the wiring. Sounds like its not hooked up correctly.

check fuses under dash and the fuses under the hood. probably the fuse under the hood labeled backup needs to be replaced

all my fuses are fine....but im guessing its a wireing problem

i got my clock from a junk yard and it does the same thing. I just thought it might be broken
