Default Help with Wheel Color (Image) and Tips on Polishing The Lip

What color is this wheel:



and any good tips on polishing the lip? im painting my HX's that color with a polished lip so need some advice on polishing lips along with that color

It looks Grey to me, then sometimes black..

It's gunmetal... RSZ-R's are gunmetal... aren't they? Unless theyre rota knockoffs...

it is gunmetal...but when compare to other gunmetals...they look different but more aggressive! and those are real RSZ-Rs..

Heres how it stands for me:

1.)Aircraft strip the old clear and oem paint of them
2.)Wash with water
3.)Use Soap/Water/Gloves
4.)Steel wool Lip till done
5.)Wash with Water
6.)Use Polish
7.)Tape up Lip really good
8.)Index cards around tire
9.)Spray Rim with (color)

steel wool is basically like fine grit sand paper. but it is easier to handle and work with. </TD></TR></TABLE>

what kind of steel wool did you use? Did you get progressively finer like you would sandpaper, or did you just use the finest grit?

thanks, im startin on mine monday and im gunna take a week on them so i dont expletive up at all or ill be riding on steelies forever

after that...

NevuDull (pep boys 5-8 bucks a can)

then some other form of metal polish/wax thing.

here is a picture of my Hx' that i did using the method mentioned above.
