Well it looks as if I will need to replace my dashboard in my 90 Y49 CRX Si. I searched and got a bunch of stuff on CRX dash to Civic and Integra dash to CRX etc. topics. Since I'm now in the market for a new dash I am wondering about a few things.
First, I know that an 88-89 CRX dash will swap right in physically, but I would like to retain my 90-91 gauge cluster and cover. Will I simply be able to swap the brackets for my cluster off of my 90 dash onto and 88-89? The reason I ask is because of the chance that I might come across an 88-89 black CRX dash in good shape before I find an actual 90-91 dash.
Second, for anyone who has done this I guess I just want to make sure there won't be any problems that I may not be forseeing. I am assuming the dash harness is the same and should be plug and play.
Third, anyone got a 88-91 black CRX dash they wanna move? Let me know.

yes the cluster and cover will fit... 88-91 dashes are the same.... with the exception of the cluster and cover
