Default my GSR almost STOLEN

The "Twin Hooks" club like anti theft device prevented it. They cut the steering wheel but could not get the Twin Hooks out of the steering column. Therefore, they stole two rims, Alpine deck, the interior, CD's, sunglasses, etc.

If anyone in the bay area selling TWO GSR rims, please contact me. It is possible that they are mine. They come wth stock michelins.

It happened in the driveway. Damn thieves.

I never had this shitty feeling before. When I read about cars getting ripped off from others, I didn't know how they feel. Now I do, and I don't wish this on anyone else. I hope they get them.
THose dummies left possible clues, they used milk crates to sit on and it was tagged by a company called "Gary's". It is like a shop here. The cops are on their way there right now.
A tech guy will be dusting for prints later this afternoon.

The twin hooks is like the club but they have to cut TWO parts of the steering wheel and bend the hell out of it to remove it.

I got it Kragen for like $30. This thing prevented my car from being stolen, not the $300 Clifford.

They tried to get my ride the other night,I'm not sure what happend i just found a scrape on the window next to the other scratch from when they stole it,I had 2 autolocks on,the club, and the shifter lock.Plus big chain plus some other goodies plus I remove several components from the motor at night so they need to have parts on hand plus all the tools to get threw the hardware,or a tow truck.Plus a loaded pistol.F*ck thieves, biggest pieces of scum there is.There are not too many things worse than having your pride and joy taken by some low life scum baggs.

Thanks. I think these guys are in our area (Fremont/UC/Hayward).
The officer told me there have been plenty lately and he said they arrested some Vietnamese ring of thieves who owns a body shop along Industrial Blvd. in Hayward.
I was kinda hoping that they take the car since I DONT WANT IT ANYMORE.
THat's if for me, if the insurance calls it a total loss, I'll just get something else. The dealer will tow it later (my insurance like to work with dealers for repairs).
When it gets fixed, it will go FOR SALE.

I know how you feel. A few years back someone broke into my GSR (right in my driveway) and sole about $1000 in stereo stuff. Luckily that was all they were after. They smashed my back quarter window to get into the car. At the time I did not have an alarm installed. These bastards hit everyone on my street. As far as I know they where never caught. I knew it was a bad sign when Detective Molder was assigned to my case (that was his name, no s***, I guess my missing stereo was an X-File). I was very depressed for about 2 weeks and contemplated just going back to a stock stereo setup and possibly getting rid of the car. But after about 2 weeks my senses came to me. My insurance was going to cover all of my losses (thank god I took pictures of all of my stuff installed in the car) so I decided to rebuild! I was not going to let those bastard thieves make me live in fear!!! So I got an alarm system installed and all my stuff replaced and the window repaired. Luckily I have not have any issues since. It's hard to have nice stuff in this world.

Yep, my interior and rims are probably at some body shop in Industrial.
Those TWIN HOOKS I got at Kragen (probably "Schucks" at some other area) but that $30 device made the car harder to steal so they gave up.
I now endorse this product. I will post pictures later, you'll see how it was "hard as hell" to remove despite the cut they made on the steering wheel.

If you are in the bay area, keep a look out for TWO gsr rims from a 98 w/ stock tires, black leather interior, and an Alpine CD. Thanks.

This sucks so bad it is afternoon and I am already having .

What two pedals do you lock? Your gas and clutch? also, where can i buy a shifter lock? I was also thinking of an e-brake lock.

Damn man! Sorry to hear about that. I will probably be investing in a double hook thing too, and to whoever said removing some enging parts...thanks for the idea. Since I have an external coil hooked up to my MSD ignition. I will be removing the power lead to the distrib so even if they get in they will not be able to start it! Oh and why not unplug the main ignition harness to boot for ***** and giggles!

I hope they catch those bastards and throw them in the clink!

When they broke into my friend's 93 GS-R, the police report stated "no prints found" when the cops never even dusted for prints. They told him "you're in Ft Lauderdale, it's not a matter of if, but a matter of when" Damn Ft Lauderdale cops.

You thnk thats bad,My friends milano red GSR got snatched,we found the kid in the worst part of Newark by avon ave,we followed the kid for over an hour,he was showing all his boys the red GSR he stole,we then told the cops, mater fact several cops, and the kid would drive in circles on the border of Newark and Irvington, and the cops from both towns would not do a dam thing, they told us to get the hell out of there before we wind up gettin shot or somthing. They did nothing, not to mention the ********** pointed a pistol at us,they still did not care that a thief with a weapon is driving right past them, they found the car the next day missing the beloved stock rims, and a couple dents,he gets it back they stole it like the next day and stripped it to nothing, and I mean nothing, not even door panels were left,no trans or motor seats everyting was taken. Thiefs, they should be hung in public

UPDATE;
According the the crime scene tech, they didn't wear gloves since they were planning to take the car.
So many prints were found by the inside window and INSIDE THE car (according to her, prosecutors won't do **** on "outside prints") when they pulled it out to pick the lock. They were not mine since it is a "loop, swirl" thing according to her.

She did say since the prints are good, there is a good chance of a match.
Also, according to her, these prints came from a "small person" due to the size of the prints, and I doubt it was a she.

Thanks for taking a lookout.

Yep, that;s the one. I emailed the pictures to KEYS to post the images. YOu will see that they cut the steering wheel and still could not get it out.
They have to cut two or more parts to remove it. I suggest everyone to pick one up. And these guys are pros since the managed to bypass the igntion and cut the alarm.
