bodywork, primer and paint S14 project
i just figured it might be interested to show some non honda work for a change. ive done a lot of bodywork on hondas but this is my first nissan to work on and im pretty hyped about it so ide figured i would document it. this will also be my first time to actually lay down some paint...
sorry i wasnt clear on everything..i wish i can take all the credit on it but im only doing the bodywork and paint on the car but it isnt mine..it belongs to a buddy of mine
..actually THIS was my first attempt at a nissan but right before we were at the primer stage it met the at irwindale..thos nissan bodies are softer than you'de think. dont mind the black spray paint that car went downhill from there

This is 2nd attempt. bare shell. bodywork done and shot with a couple coats of primer. ready for final block sanding

i wish i would have gotten some pics in during the bodywork but you know how that goes. most of the work went into both quarter panels where i had to redo someone elses work.
i have to be honest after taking a ride in my buddies 1st shell i liked it so much i almost sold my rhd and bought a 14 myself

FATTY lip

i envy RWD offsets

..we're hoping to finish blocksanding and getting final paint down this weekend. its a drift car that will actually be drifted so ill be laying down a basic single stage TAFETTA WHITE (had to add my honda touch to it haha)...
...stay tuned

How much you think you have tied up in the body work on that car? I'm just curious you don't have to say if you don't want.

about $330 including fillers, sand paper, primer, primer gun, making materials and 2 days of work
we just spend $140 on paint today. i bought a single stage paint because its my first time to lay down paint and this is my guinea pig. if i were going to go with a base and clear system i think paint would be more like $300-400
