Default How ca I Modify a 92b Civic Si Harness to fit a B162 engine.

I would like to know how I am able to modify my harness from a 92 Si to fit a. Will I just need to swap connectors or what.Please help.

buy an obd1 swap and plug it up.

You dont need to modify your oem 92 Si harness, just use it on the b16 motor, everything should plug in. But you have to use your 92 si p28 ecu to run the motor, you have to chip the p28 ecu to run on the b16 DOHC correctly though.

u have to extend the wires for ur o2 sensor

all the plugs are there, i always just take out the loom and extend all the plugs where they need to go and then re wrap it. some of the plugs end up short like the iat, and o2

You could also use a obd2 gsr harness and the plugs will directly plug up on the b16 and also directly plug into the chassis harness on your car. You will have some extra plugs on that arent used but there will be no rewireing to do or extending wires.

if ur going to run ur p28 then u need to have it chipped with a new map...if ur going to run a p30 ur going to need to wire the knock sensor to the ecu
