Default Thought on OBX Stainless turbo discharge flange?

im looking for a stainless steel t3 discharge flange, and the cheapest i found was like $72... then i found an OBX one of ebay for like $21.... generally, knowing its OBX, id look right pass it, but can a flange be a big deal? Yay or Nay to it? thanks

here is what it is:

I dunno how they could expletive it up but they always seem to find a way I'd rather go to BMC race but I know some of us are poor and must cut some corners. I'm not going to say it's good or bad.....

i know how they can F it up ... they cast it and then machine it afterwards, i had one of their flanges and started welding it... low and behold i burnt through a 1/2 thick CNC flange ? inside was a frickin POTHOLE !!!! soo they make nice hollow flanges i guess.. at least thats my experience.

They are flame cut 1/2" plate. I'm using one and it fit fine. I paid the same day, but it took over a week for Sparktec to get it to me, and I only live about 600 miles away from them.

you dont need a stainless flange if you are running stainless runners or DP. I was under the assumption that mild steel is better for flanges anyways?

goddamn I knew they would find a way to expletive it up.

It's almost like they sit around and think really hard about how they can suck even more.

I beleive billet describes that the piece was machined from a single piece of metal... I know for sure it has nothing to do with the type of metal

billet is a solid chunk of any metal alloy.

we machine "billets" at work, anything from titanium to aluminum to steel
