hey guys, my buddy has a 99 Civic EX 2dr. Well last week i replaced my guage cluster and HVAC lightbulbs with green LEDs in my 96 Z24 Cavalier. He saw them and liked how they looked. We are wondering if we are able to do the same but in red for his civic? I understand that the HVAC ***** are different and i dont beleive u can have them clear like mine. but i was just curious mainly on the gauges. Also what size bulbs are in the back of the guages? Thanks.

You have two options.

A- Get RED LEDS and do the same thing.

B- Paint the bulbs in there red. Heres a link on a how to for that...

awesome, do u kno what size they are? mine used a 194 bulb. same thing? Also i know on mine for the stock sockets u would have to solder the end wires to the metal tabs for a good connection. but u can go to any parts store and put some plug in play ones. mine used 1/2" do u know if the Civic will use the same? O is this something no one has really done? Is there any links for removing the dash on a 99 civic ex?
