Default Toda Spec Ds cam question

engine:
JG engine dynamics GSR head milled Pro series head
CTR Pistons .40 over
LS bottom end
1.9 L
oem head gasket

I just recently purchased a set of Toda spec Ds, im worried about the clearance of the valves between the pistons. Does anyone know if there will be a problem. im not worried about the compression becuz mine is well over 13.8
(i use to run skunk2 stage 3s. but decided to go bigger.)

Default Re: Toda Spec Ds cam question (civicstar)

Clay check the motor with vtec meachnically locked. Decide on a minimum clearance and keep repeating the process for all the different cam gear adjustment combos you want to try. Takes a long time and is a pain in the *** but it is the only way to be sure when running large cams. You are mainly going to be cutting it close on the exhaust side. Aslo be sure to check valve to valve clearance during overlap
