Default how lowered is too lowered?

In a functional sense and prevent the upper control arm from hitting the fender well for the crx?

for 14" wheels does a 1 finger gap front and 2 finger gap rear sounds too low ? this is a road race car....

thank you

i just helped a buddy of mine lower his integra and it was as low as you are talking about with the finger gaps. Unfortunatley the cat was touching the ground so we had to raise it and now that cat is about 2 inches from the ground. i say that is way too low it looks cools but you will destroy a lot of stuff with your car that low. If your car is for that track only where the course is real smooth then i say rock it but otherewise i wouldnt trust driving my car anywhere on the street.

I've lowered a CRX 3" with no rubbing or control arm whackage. The gaps you describe sound a-ok

2" is about like you're talking.....finger-gapwise

3" gives some tuck on the front wheels, but still driveable and good handling

4" is the absolute lowest, those are the ones that are SUPER dumped and ride/handle like ****.
