oil pan on the track!!?
hey guy i was just trying to get some opinions. do you need to change the stock oil pan for track use??
i have herd that if you are going to drive at a track event with a stock pan you have a high chance of the oil sticking to the sides of the pan
i have driven my itr on the track before, but do i need to change this before i go on again or does it not matter???
thanx guys!!

Ah baffled oil pans, the debate continues.
Another plus of owning a Prelude, nobody makes a baffled oil pan for me so I don't have to worry about it =P

all a spoon baffled pan is a P72 oil pan. When you look at a stock and sppon pan...the differences is on the side fo the stock one.....it has no level (only the front and back/side to side).....on the spoon one there are levels that make the pan have a plate over all the oil....so when you turn the oil will hit that level and not sit on the side TOO high. I can draw a pic and show you what I mean. Also I have my welding neighbor and will have him make me a spoon copy.
