Default FORGED PISTONS FOR ZC DOHC**************

Hi

has any one heard of ITM pistons?
I am about to buy a set of forged ones for the zc dohc. they are said to hold 15-17 psi and are size 0 2 0?

any one know how much bhp i can get from a properly tuned up, turbo'd engine with these pistons ?

Please let me know what you think.
I am open to any suggestions.

First off, with a properly tuned engine, 15-17 psi can be possible with stock pistons. When not tuned right; detonation kills pistons, high boost kills rods.

Not enough info on pistons,
What c/r do the pistons have with stock ZC 90mm stroke?
What bore size, 75.5mm?

thanks for replying mate ,

it a set of (ITM) forged pistons with (ITM) rods and they are standard bore size

and yes it will be a properly tuned engine im going with a KMS valve kit and probably skunk 2 cams or crespos.
it is going to get turbocharged, what bhp do you think i can achieve ?

With forged pistons and rods usually the engine can handle over 500whp ..

do not go with kms for the valves!!!! click on my signature 1st, and i was boosting 12 psi on my stock pistons, id say if you only plan on boosting 15-17 psi you should just use your stock pistons for that amount of boost
