Confused, please help
Right now im confused as hell, suspension makes less sense to me than women
I have a 93 del sol, the 17's are gone, on the way are some 15's. Now my problem is I want the car lowered, but know I can just slap on some coil-overs on my stock suspension.
What would the best way to lower the car, without spending out the ***...I alos dont want a Full out racing suspension, just somthing for daily driving, and to the autox once in awile.
Thanks for the help H-T

Get quality lowering springs.
Everyone says auto-x once in a while, thinking they need to upgrade their suspension because they're going to do some crazy driving one weekend out of the year. If you're only going to the track/auto-x once or twice a year, what you NEED to do is have fun, and you don't need to spend a lot of $$$ on suspension to do that.
Lowering springs would/will give 90% of people just what they want out of their cars, they just don't know it because they think they need more.

yes you can get just lowering springs and call it a day. often however, stock shocks wont be able to withstand the increased spring rate of aftermarket springs for a long time before they start to wear out. its usually a good idea to get new shocks/springs at the same time.
as far as recommndations, tein springs are pretty high quality, fairly soft to preserve your ride quality, and offer enough drop for many people. other good quality springs are Eibach Pro-Kit and H&R Sport. Those will both offer somewhat lessened ride quality over the Teins, a tradeoff of their higher springrate used to increase performance.
