does this happen with age, or is this normal?

 

I've never seen a yellow tint unless the bulbs were changed. All the ones I've seen are blueish.

they get that way after about 30 minutes of being on, it could be my eyes

 

There's a coating on the newer headlights that I've seen. At an angle it gives off a "burnt Ti" reflection, part yellow n part blue. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about.

Is it the Spa blinding you?

im going to further investigate this tonight

 

The stock HIDs are pretty close to white at 4300K. A bulb close to 3000K will look yellow. I don't know if there is any way to "loose" Kelvins. Maybe the ballasts are going bad?
