Noticed my HIDs have a yellow tint

they get that way after about 30 minutes of being on, it could be my eyes

There's a coating on the newer headlights that I've seen. At an angle it gives off a "burnt Ti" reflection, part yellow n part blue. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about.

The stock HIDs are pretty close to white at 4300K. A bulb close to 3000K will look yellow. I don't know if there is any way to "loose" Kelvins. Maybe the ballasts are going bad?
