my engine dropped right into place easily, but if you have a shitty mount kit, it might be harder. shift cables were easy too, as long as you have the right tools to cut the hole. My whole swap went far smoother than I was expecting. Good luck.

I used an aftermarket box that the shifter mounted into, so I cut a hole the size of that box. If I were using the stock braket though, I would bolt the braket in place based on the interior of the car, then cut a hole about 3" wide, 2" long a few inches in front of the bracket. It doesn't have to be perfect, just make sure the cables will reach before you start cutting (don't start on the shifter until the motor is bolted in the car).
