is it in an ef or a 06 si . need more info . if it`s an ef you need to get an obd-0 dizzy and a pr-3 ecu most of the sensors will plug and play but you will have to make the temp sensor wires longer to reach the thermo housing . and then add your 4 vtec wires .

It's for an EF. I know about the dizzy and ecu for obd0 but the main concern was if it was possible to use the ls harness and if the plugs would match up.

Yes u can... Just start plugging in everything and when u find something that won't plug in repin or splice the plugs that were on the original motors harness and plug it in..what wires ur gonna add are gonna be dependent on which ecu u use and which obd ur gonna be..then do the normal wiring for the gsr swap.. Knock sensor iab 4wire 02 run the vtec wires and everythings gonna be fine

best if you use the engine harness for your car and convert the wiring as required - not all harnesses are interchangeable - if your car is DPFI then you need to use your harness and convert it to MPFI - LS harness will not plug into chassis harness of car with DPFI

I've done the LS harness on the B16 but haven't done it on a GSR. That's why I wanted to make sure. Thanks for info guys.

curious how did you make your LS harness work for your b16? I’m trying to do the same thing with my gsr swap in a 1991 civic ef.
