Default dc5 oem b-pipe plus tannabe racing medallion axleback????????????

as topic sed. i have a tanabe racing full exhaust for my 02 dc5. My b-pipe is all fucked up, dented real bad due to a rear accident that cause my exhaust to push up towards the cat and it is now bent a lil which cause the exhaust to hang reall low. i scrape ever bump i come by. my question is will a dc5 oem b-pipe bolt right up to my axleback? plz help because my shitty *** b-pipe is really annoyin and f-ed up. i'm just tyrin to go the cheapest route inestead of buyin a whole new catback. thanks

the reason i'm doin it becuz i'm not really tryin to soop my car up and money is something i dont' have much at the moment. I found a guy who is sellin a oem b-pipe VERY CLEAN for only 40 bucks. so i was just seein if i can just erplace the axle back on the b-bpipe. I Know i can go to a muffler shop, i've gone through those alot due to fact i had a eg, and in process, i'm workin a crx and del sol. So i just curious if this would work that way i woudln't have to actually spend that much money on my rsx. i just want my rsx as a daily driven car while on the weekends, i'll take out my other toys. you feel me? but anyways thanks for the tip.

Don't know if you had a chance to see the OEM mid pipe but the flange is different from the Tanabe flange. Plus you'll be giving up a lot of pipe diameter (and some HP gain) for a big increase in noise from the axle back. If you're really on a budget, have a muffler shop cut out the bent part of the Tanabe mid pipe and weld in new section. For what it's worth, I had a Tanabe Hyper on my car and it dyno'd .5 WHP less than my friends base auto with a Tanabe Racing. The mid pipes on both are the same, the gains are from the overall larger pipe diameters, not the muffler section in this case.
