Default gsr or type r

quick question for all, if you were to take a gsr and build it with type r internals, parts, how much difference in power would there be between that set up and a type r motor

nobody will really know it until they actually put it on dyno to check it out

but shouldnt be too much of differance i guess..
only differance would be the compression ratio.. 10.6:1 Vs 10.0:1

i dont know what the .6 CR will do

Actually the GSR head has smaller combustion chambers so it bumps the compression a bit higher to around 10.8:1. So you would gain a moderate amount of compression. If built right, it could be a fun motor.

use ctr pistons in a gsr block and you'll have 11.5-1 compression.. perfect for big cams just make sure you DO NOT mill the head... other wise you will have clearance issues
