ok, i put a fresh (rebuilt/new "everything") b18a1 in my 90 base model civic hatch...switched out the brakes for 4 door dx brakes (to fit the teg axles), 13's wont fit, 14's (civic si wheels) fit but the calipers rub the back of the wheel and wont let it turn, the wheels/tires just slide when trying to push it. next up.....
got the motor in, everything hooked up to get it to start up, its throwing a code 6 on the pr4 ecu, it turns over no problem, but wont fire up at all (but the spark plugs are firing). kept trying until the battery started losing juice....any help/advice/experience youve had with this would be greatly appriciated, thanks.

i know its getting fuel. rotor/cap/wires are all brand new. fusues not sure about (no signs of a bad fuse), gas is 87 and has only been sitting for a couple of weeks at the most. main ground and a few others are hooked up. took the plug/wire out of #4 and tried start up and it was sparking. also, there was smoke coming out of the open exhaust ports when it was turning over showing that combustion was taking place.
if your car is a base model, then it use to be dual port fuel injection. who did the MPFI conversion?? My guess is that the injectors are not spraying at the right time so the power stroke doesnt take place.
i would double check the wires that go from the ECU to the injectors. Make sure they go to the right injector. The only other thing i could think of is that the ignition wires are not in the right order.
If you have fuel, compression and spark, then all you need is to have them at the same time.
