I am having trouble locating a jdm map sensor to work with my buddys h22a. Its going into a 94 lx. Can i rig something else up? like a crx map sensor?
Also, i cant find a used prelude evap canister anywhere. Will the accord one work?

 

Just use a sensor from a usdm h22. It doesn't have to be"JDM". They're the same sensor.

 

you can use any map sensor off any honda, as long as its mounted on the throttle body...i believe alot of crx's use firewall mounted map sensors...

 

yes, i can use any map sensor on the usdm models. My h22a throttle body doesn't have the map on the throttle body. I believe it mounts on the firewall.

 

How do you currently have it set-up?

What I did was pull the map sensor off my Accord motor and mounted it to the firewall, then extended the wiring a bit and ran the vacuum line to the throttle body.

 

what about the evap canister? Can i just use the accord one and run a "T" from one of the two vacuum lines?

 

Yeah you use the Accord evap canister and just run the vacuum line for the map sensor to the nipple on the top of the throttle body.
