Alright so ive looked into reflashing my ECU. however im very confused on how to go about doing so... Do u reflash the car when its stock, or after you added parts to the car.. ex. CAI and full exhaust.. and also if u do a reflash after u added the parts how does the the company reflashing ur ecu know that u have these parts.. i just need a general clearifying on this subject cause im lost.. on the steps to doing a reflash

 

the reflash is somethign you can get anytime....i woudl suggest getting it after a catback and intake.....then save up for k-pro!

btw....reflash and race header=bad.....your AF ratio may be thrown WAY to lean....

the reflash isnt programmable...its just a basic program its not specific....it has general parameters so it will work with large numbers of cars.

 

how bad is it to put race headers and a reflashed ecu because the headers are kinda important to the goal i want to reach with my car.. also i dont really want a k pro because its like twice the price and i more than likely wont be adding anything else to my car other than cai, headers, and catback.

Also would it be worse if i put the headers on a stock ecu?

 

some people experience very lean conditions when they put a race header with the reflash. I woudl not risk it myslef

 

what happens if you lean out too much with the reflash?

could you get the reflash installed and then also install a vafc-2 and add more fuel in the areas that are lean?
