ok so my car wont start sometimes and sometimes it will.
sometimes i turn the key and it does nothing
sometimes it makes a rapid clicking noise.
sometimes it trys to turn over but it wont start up.

i got a new battery and power wires and ground and still does the same thing.
ive hit my starter and doesnt help.
ive jiggled wires and doesnt help.
it doesnt die when i drive it runs ok.
just when i kill it it doesnt start back up.

when i turn my key the lights come on but thats it.. wtf...
any ideas???

 

Sounds like you may have a starter going out. Or you have some wires that are bad. I have a bad positive cable from the battery to the starter and it would cause the start not to start.
