Steering Knuckle

Default Steering Knuckle

Ok guys i got a ? everytime i hit a bump or something i would hear some clanking from the front of the car so i decided to take off my wheels and inspect my front suspension. the steering knuckle seems to be a little loose from the upper control arm. what would i need to do to make it better . btw i have coilovers and 17's if that helps

what do you mean, are you saying the upper ball joint has play??? all the manual steering honda's i have driven make clunking noises from the rack and pinion after a while, its not a big problem. if its real bad get it checked out.

what i mean is that when i jack up the car and take the wheel off i can move the steering knuckle up and down i checked out my buddies civic of the same gen and it doesnt move

oh, thats because of the coilover sleeves, they all do that.

i dont mean move the whole thing up and down i just saying that i can move it cuz i think the castle nut that holds the steering knuckle and upper control arm is loose

oh, the upper ball joint nut, tighten it up, if its tight then the ball joint is bad.
