Default Exhaust and ECU for type R

ok, so this spring I am putting on a DC 4-1 jdm header with a carsound high flow cat, the one other thing i would like to do is a ecu upgrade, wondering which programs (spoon, jun, hondata, etc) are good, also wondering what kind of exhausts guys are running, I have come across a hks high power system that i am interested in, also have thought of running a rsr or apexi WS, looking for something on the quite side, all responses and advice is greatly appreciated

For ECU I would use something that you have a tuner for. So if you have someone somewhat close that is best on Hondata then get Hondata.

Exhaust is preference, I like it quiet.

for the price of a preprogrammed ecu you could get hondata and a tune. for a basic bolt on setup the preprogrammed would be fine but with any additional parts such as cams you would be losing out on power imo.

-i'm currently awaiting my spoon ecu so no i am not bias towards hondata or any other.

On the ECU - Hondata, AEM EMS, Power FC, Chrom, Neptune..... something that you can have tuned. Don't waste your money on a Mugen, Jun, Spoon, etc. ECU.

I like the Buddy Club Spec III or Pro-Spec exhaust. If you want it quiet get the M000gen twin loop.
