im running a VIS hood on the AP. no fitment issues. the weaves are awesome.

you should check out s2ki or even here for any group buys on their hoods. a search would be a good start

I ordered carbon fiber VIS hood, trunk, and oem lip. I got the VIS hood but the front lip and trunk are international back order, it can take months So the person i ordered the VIS from has carbon-creations trunk and front lip!
I want to know if i should just get the carbon-creations trunk and lip or wait for the VIS trunk and lip. The **** is that i have a car show
(hot import nightsBOSTON) coming up on 4/29/06.

I just saw a VIS hood today that was faded and fit like crap. Is fading normal with c/f hoods?

all depends on the clear coat...

some are UV protected and others are not.

Clear coat or not it will fade. I've had 2 VIS hoods both fade inside of a year.

with any cf product it is good to scuff and lay some clear coat on. Done this with every cf piece that i've ever had.

I've had a VIS on my car a while. I have not had any fade or fitment issues. After getting bored with it I cut out the are inside the hood stiffener and added some mesh vents.
