Default JDM Rear seats

Dont know if this is Integra question or Type R..... So, I just purchased some rear JDM seats. They listed em as 98+. I think he lied on them. my USDM teg has like a push in type clip that attaches to the support brace. These seats have the funky shape ones. LIke the z type look and not the u type look. OK so here is my question....

Did they make the push in type clips on the JDM cars??

THanks for anyone that knows.

I think certain year model JDM rear seats are like that. Mine came like that as well.

I just bent them out of the way and put them in the car. The seat buckles that go thru the seat pretty much hold it in place... even more so if people are sitting on it and buckled in.

Your talking about a bracket on the butt part of the seats. That part is for a 96-97 ITR seat. The 94-97 Integra's came with a bracket that looks like a Z whereas the 98-01 looks more like an L.

In all reality the 96-97 ITR rear butt part of the seat is more rare than the 98-01 ITR rear butt part.

Up to you what you do. You could try selling them to someone with a 94-97 Integra as they are pretty hard to find (I had to end up calling Hmotors and getting them to order it for me specifically. First set that came in was the 98-01, then the finally got the 96-97 style the second time they ordered them) or you could return them.

The difference in mounting brackets is due to the addition of that black side impact beam.

Since JDM ITR's did not have this beam, I would assume that they ALL have the 94-97 style of bracket. I can confirm that my '99 JDM ITR has a "Z" type bracket different from the bracket in my '00 USDM ITR.

Yeah, thats exactly what I am wondering. I would really like to snap them into the bracket like the USDM OEM seats. If JDM never made that style than I will just bend it like mentioned by someone else. I'd really like to know 100% though whether or not they had different styles. Thanks.
