Okay if your piston rings are bad and the car is burning oil, then the car is going to burn oil no matter what rpm its at right? say 2-8 thousand rpm's? Im aking this question because i checked my compression and its totally fine and if i drive normal without taking it up the rpm's say redline then i burn next to no oil whatsoever. I drove 300 miles already and no oil is missing at all. this is on a b18c1 engine thats guys
So what exactly are you asking? There is no oil missing and you have driven 300 miles, so I don't see a problem.
When are you burning the oil?
Mine was so bad that under boost, you could see a huge cloud of burnt oil behind me. The RPM range was negligible...it was the throttle position that dictated how much oil was burned.

okay my oil burns away when i used to drive somewhat in high rpm range. many users on here said that it could be my piston rings but i got them checked and did compression test and they were fine. My oil starts to burn when i drive hard and redline the car. I know my headstuds need to be replaced and that is causing the head not to seal properly to the block.
When i drive normal the car burns like no oil but when i drive hard it burns. what my question was is that if your piston rings are bad then your engine will burn oil either way right?

you can burn oil and have good compression, there are oil retension rings on the bottom of the piston, and compression rings at the top. If oil gets past the lower rings (which get caked up with carbon on high mileage engines and maintenance neglected engines), you will burn oil but actually help the upper rings with compression. Its like doing a wet compression test, the number gets higher with oil on the upper rings. Valve seals will also cause oil burning, moreso when cold.

thank you. one more thing is that the car burns no oil when i take it only up to 4k rpm. Like ill just cruise and not pull it or go WOT or anything. but i will burn when i drive the car hard. so is it safe to say that the piston rings are fine because the car does not burn oil whatesoever if i drive normal. Ive kept it under 4000 rpm for 300 miles and the oil is still there.
Didn't you make a post a Ways back about something to do with oil,
and that you re-used your headbolts?
It's been a while and you Still haven't changed them, Why?
Maybe you should look into getting some studs for it and put new valveseals in.
