After hearing about Laughins trouble with installing the DP kit on his Prelude, he mentioned that the plate kit should be released, and that he was not happy with his DP install. I think NOS has had the kit done, but has not put it into production because they may fear that the demand will not be high enough to make it profitable. I would suggest a group buy, if there is enough buyers, put it into production. Lets get this kit out, it would be a sweet option for us to have.

As long as it has the same instake manifold, i think it will work. I seriously think if we could get enough people to sign, and get enough people interested in a group buy, NOS would be willing to manufacture the kit, even if it was only for the group buy.

 

I live in the same town where Holley is located, and my buddy has gotten hooked up with a DP NOS kit for 450 that he was going to use on his MR2. He tells me that they have a special plate made for 1.8L-2.2L engines (basically Integras/Preludes)--and I'm fairly certain they keep it in production. He was going to use the kit for the MR2 but is selling it and told me that it would fit my car as well because of the plate....Hope that helps any.

I want one too, but reading into it, the dry kit is much safter and you can get bigger nozzles to adjust for higher shots as seen in DP kits. I'm still in a toss up on it though...

 

Have you guys seen the new NOS setup that goes around the injectors? That's closes to direct you will get. Only thing is kit will be around $1000 dollars. Yikes!!

 

If you run higher than a 75 shot on a dry kit you will get poor distribution and possible lean condition in one or more cylinders. DP kits, plate kits, and teh new NOSzles are the only safe way to run more than a 75 shot.

 

I'd be interested on the plate kit if its not too much, I'm not that happy with my setup now. When do the NOSzles come out? are they really gonna be $1k for only four?
