If the shop is going to tune it on hondata s100 or s200 then the shop only needs to add a 4 pin header to your ecu & provide you with the hondata system.

If the P28 is chipped and setup for the hondata system, then yes.

The shop should know what to do if he's a hondata tuner. They have to socket it (if not socketed) and sodder 3-4 wires that goes to the blue box. Than they run the romulator/emulator/whatever they call that box that plugs into the chip socket. After they are done tuning it, they burn the chip and put it back in the ecu and your done. Why didn't you just ask them these question?

Also, I used hondata for over 3 years and was pretty happy with it. My car was making 450whp on it and had no problem. My only problem was that not alot of good shops tuned them in my area and the shop I delt with was a pain to get to.

Remove the Jumper at J12 and solder in a 4 pin header at the CN2 port.

For sure man. You can save and run multi. maps on the s300 via USB, and when you race on the track and daily drive, it's worth it.

lol your kidding right. i mean no offense but i dunno if you want someone tuning your car if they cant answer simple questions about your ecu or even know what the different coding on the ecu's mean.

if a shop tunes hondata they should know what hardware needs to be added to the ecu and they should be able to work with your chipped p28. even if they dont chip ecu's themselves they should still know what needs to be done.

if the shop can tune hondata they can tune crome...its sad shops screw people over like this and make them buy a new system so they can profit...
