I got a 91 CRX HF should i do a mini me and swap out the 8 valve with a z6 vtec head or swap the whole z6 motor in there? i got a Si cable tranny on the HF and z6

I dont think you can build a mini-me with an HF short block since the pistons only have two valve reliefs...your pistons will hit the valves.

 

I think your only option here is motor.

 

I agree,do the complete d16z6 engine swap..

You'll need different pistons in the hf block to do the 16valve head swap..also the timing issue that mini-mes have when not using an adjustable cam gear is annoying.
