I've got a 92 si swap for sale. It's coming out of my civic. It does need some lovin with gaskets. Doesnt smoke at all, but leaks a little around the head and distributor. The head has a zex street/strip cam. Dc sports header, cold air intake, exedy stage 1 clutch, fully dyno'd ecu with a chip. The motor has about 100k on it. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have a ls/vtec swap to go into it. Looking to get $600 for the complete swap, also includes the axle's, transmission, and engine harness.

It may be an old motor but if you do the math on the parts you'll see that even if you bought it for 600 bucks you could sell the parts in it for more than that. There's no way I can take 350 for it considering I have an offer just for the cam and ecu for 300. The ecu is worth over 150 easy being chipped and dyno tuned, and the cam installed is about 300. Not to mention the si tranny with a exedy clutch is like 150+. Let me know, if you can add something on top of that then it will be considered. The motor runs fine, its in my car right now to test drive.

 

bump, I can have it installed into a civic (92-95) for around 400 bucks, that fully swapped with computer and engine/tranny. Anything else you want could be done at the same time when the motor is out. Just let me know.

 

It would be going into a 95 LX sedan.. 102hp really doesn't cut it for me, what do you think you're pulling from that motor? on paper, and at the wheels.

 

Honestly? I'd say around 140+ with the mods on it. Maybe more, I'm being conservative. I pulled away from a 1.8t jetta, those are pretty snappy. As far as putting it into a 4 door the improvement would be well noticed. Your more than welcome to test drive it before you buy it if your really interested and if you want it I can schedule a time to have it swapped the same day if it's early enough.

What exactly does this motor need to be 100% ?

 

To be completly 100%, it needs a iac due to high idle. Even with that the motor still runs great!!

 

I'll tell you what, you come down to plattsburg (2hrs) drive it and if you want it I'll give you a little better price.

 

I'm planning on buying that car i told you about earlier, it has a stuck valve, and the tranny, flywheel, and clutch need replcement, it's driveable right now though. I'm not sure when i could get the money. But if i did go through with this deal, i would like to drive down to ny to meet you, and drive home at the end of the day with a new motor and tranny for about <1000 would that be possible?

I have a 2001 TT-R 125 for sale localy, i'm looking to get about 1200 for it. They go for 1400-2000 in the want ads, but i'm looking for a quick sale for you. I don't know, but would you be willing to take the bike? It would require more work on your part but you would definitly make that money plus more. It runs perfectly.

I would be interested in that deal with the bike but that leaves me with no cash to take care of my ls/vtec swap into my civic. It's like a double edged sword. I dont know but come hell or high water this motor will be out of the car soon.

 

I am very interested. I would drive this weekend to get it, but you need to come down in price. Also all I need is the motor, tranny, and ecu. I am serious I will drive out tomarrow. What can you do for me?
