i wouldn't expect a big gain. you can get some bigger cams to use that high compression though.

a friend had a 91 LS with type r pistons, and I/H/E. it pulled pretty nice; it made a noticeable difference in torque, which is always nice. it seems like a lot of LS guys are using either crower or crame cams; im almost positive junk2 doesnt make nonvtec cams, i could be wrong though.

there will be a difference but nothing major that'll you'll feel. it is a good upgrade though if you do plan on getting better cams. while you're at it, get some arp rod bolts. just do some searching and you'll know what you'll need.

check out nonvtec.com there's a lot of info there.

btw, i have some brand new arp rod bolts if you need them let me know.

really though, instead of asking so many questions. it would be best to do a search on all of this. all the things you've asked have been covered numerous times. I'm not trying to be an ***, but like i said just search and you'll find it. there are so many threads on ls-vtec.

everyone has their own opinions. it makes great power and is really reliable if built correctly. if you half *** it, it wont last as long.

^Listen to this guy, he knows his stuff. Depending which B16 pistons you use, you could see decent gains with no other parts.

well i turbo'd my b18b and it blew.. but when i took it apart i found out why.. it was a rebuild with b16 pistons running high compression.. but before i went turbo it ran GSR times at the track, and would pull all other ls's and b20's with bolt ons. i just had a aem shorty intake.. not bad for a stock motor with b16pistons its in my 98 civic coupe though
