Default Pulling the ol' Tranny

The other day my clutch started to feel all sorts of mushy and hard to push in.

Then yesterday I was about a mile from my house on the way to work and I push the clutch in and it just doesnt spring back up. I pull over, check my cable, everything looks fine, just no springage in my tranny lever.

It gets towed back to my house for free later that night and I yank the cable. I check the lever on the tranny and theres no springage. Its loose as a goose. My guess is the spring on the throwout bearing is shot.

So i wake up today at 830 am, astonishing I know, and its freaking snowing outside. In NEW JERSEY IN APRIL... Go back to bed, wake up at 1130, Mom says: "oh its nice out"....NOT...Blizzard-time.

I start the process to pull my tranny, leaving the motor in the car at 130pm. After a major pain in my ***, I get the tranny out at 3pm. Ill update with some pics I think later on. As far as getting that sucker back in, I don't feel like doing it.

thanks you too. I got the tranny pulled, changed the spring/bearing and got it back in by 630pm. Now my tranny feels great again and since I put some new synchromesh oil in it shifts awesome.

Whats great about a junkyard is you don't have to give a **** about anything else in the car. Just yank that **** outta there
