Default A few questions for Hybrid Accord owners

OK I am thinking about trading my 04' 4Runner in for a 05' or 06' Hybrid Accord. The gas mileage on my truck is killing me so I want something more pracitcal. Anyways, i've been reading alot of mixed reviews on the Hybrid so I figured i'd rather go with opinions from my fellow H-Ters than anyone else. I just wanted to know if its worth the price, how it rides and performs, and most importantly how long a tank of gas lasts and what kind of gas mileage you are REALLY getting in the city and on the highway. Your advice and opinions are greatly appreciated!!

You would have to keep the car for a long time, and many many miles before the savings on gas can amout to the extra sticker price. The power, I hear, is very good though. The only other complaint I've heard of is disposal of the old batterys when you have to replace them. Where, and how much? Research all of these things before you buy one, is all I'm saying.

There are many reviews on the car. Read up on it.

yeah, but you do get a tax deduction each year you own the car(if they havent changed it). I assume it handles like any new accord would

Honda has covered the batteries in all of the Civics and insights that have needed them so I assume they will do the same on the Accords
